This was among the first Logic tutorials I watched when I was a Logic noob, and rewatching it some 11 years later was just as informative in a different way: I focused on the more advanced topics that suit my current needs.
This topic should be top priority for everyone starting with a new DAW, especially Logic. The answers to many questions you’ll have in the first few years of using Logic are answered here, and many bits of info you never knew you needed are here too, explained simply and directly by an always entertaining and engaging instructor. Highly recommended!

I hadn't intended to do this course but the reviews for it were so fulsome in their praise that my interest was piqued - the course couldn't possibly be that good, I said to myself. But it is! This course is a work of art.

Thank you Peter Schwartz for this great course!!
The information presented is of great value and - kind of theoretical in nature - explained in a very easy and vivid way.

Very detailed. excellent approach and leads you systematically . This is only possible if one is an authority on the subject. Great stuff, for understanding the core of signal flow.

A gem of a course in disguise. Although it is about signal flow in Logic Pro X, there is a lot to be learned about other things in Logic. It actually gave me ideas on being creative, something that no course on signal flow has done so far.
In fact, I daresay this is one of the best courses on music production I've watched for any app on any site. I don't have much equipment and thought that I wouldn't get too much out of this course, but I kept on through to the end as I was learning and watching new things pretty much all the way.
Some of the dad jokes were unnecessarily off-kilter made me roll my eyes (don't get me wrong, I like jokes), but otherwise the content end-to-end was spot on, sufficiently detailed, well structured, had perfect pace, narrated well and is also an excellent source of information on the Logic mixer. (Which by the way deserves its own course and this is the closest thing to it on this site.)
Hoping to see more videos by Peter.

ESSENTIAL VIEWING - Wish I had w wrote on March 30, 2019
By far one of the most helpful things I have ever watched regarding audio and music production, period. Even though it's about signal flow in Logic, it still gives the most succinct and helpful introductions and overviews of audio signal flow in general, not to mention amazing little intros to things like compression, noise gating etc. I really feel like I learned more valuable information in this course than like 90% of other things I have watched, put together, and I wasn't a slouch before.

This has to be hands down one of the best tutorials I've seen. Upon further review of the guys online profile it's easy to understand why.
The explanations are excellent. The graphics are first rate.
I'm gonna look for some more of this guys work.
I'm very impressed by the music scores he uses in the tutorials. Inspirational.

This is as good as it gets. Everything starts with good fundamentals and this course is full of them and then some. The instructor's teaching style is 2nd to none. Absolutely engaging and didactic at the same time, all the time. This course takes a long time, over several viewings, to fully comprehend but the toil is well worth it. Absolute highest recommendation!
