Nigel Broad turns Drummer on it's head in this course! Starting with a simple introduction to Drummer and choosing a track, he manages to explain how to use producer kits and the mixer to create new tracks to cut, mix, and match in order to achieve a whole new sound. The latter part of the course also does the same thing for using Logic's Retro synths to create D'n'B, Trance, and Dubstep bass rythyms and pads!

Very useful information about drums and bass. I think it's time for a second series, with all the new updates, and some fresh creative ideas. I enjoyed watching this :)

No need to go shopping for tons of 3rd party drum machines and drum libraries. Nigel Broad hands us a plethora of information which helps us transform new ideas for beat making, and song writing.

Great drums and bass course by Nigel Broad showing off Logic Pro X's build in plugins. Really liked the bass sound design section at the end, I have always thought the ES2 had a great sounds, looks like Retro is following in its big brothers foot steps!

Inspiring. I'm not really into EDM, I'm more into Industrial Rock, but it's given me some very interesting knowledge from other genres to add to my experimental work.

Nigel does it again with another fantastic tutorial. I am pretty familiar with Drummer and have actually found some new ways I haven't seen in any tutorial to do things; but this tutorial introduces some very interesting ideas, particularly with the ODE to the old skool beats - that was very creative and original. I loved this tutorial.

While I'm not really a dance music maestro (More Singer/Songwriter) I found Nigel Broads articulation of the EDM very interesting and elucidating.

I love how you explained in the course overview how you explain that EDM entails all dance-music genres such a techno, trance, electro etc. That made the tutorial much more appealing to me, since I am not so fond of the uninspiring formula-based commercial "EDM" you hear everywhere. Thanx for the tips!
