January TNT.... What should it be???
I haven't decided about what the heck I should do about January's TNT.... Igor wants one on Tuba Synthesis and I told him, in my best New York accent to forgettaboudit... ( I actually grew up in Pittsburgh) however, I was wondering if any of you TNT subscribers out there have any other cool ideas? Anybody?

Hello, I was wondering if there was any tips/tricks you have for the new features in the Time algorithms section for making more precise edits. For example how to use the new legacy algorithms and the uses for the new Complex option. I know Martin touched on this in his tutorial but i would like to know how to get into this in more depth. Just a thought Thanks & keep up the good work!

I haven't got the 'Environment' Tutorial yet - so, please excuse me if this is already covered [or, better yet, let me know so I'll get it:], but ever since Sounddiver was kicked to the curb, I haven't been able to manage my external synths very easly. I'd like to learn more about how to manage, control and incorporate my external synths [Waldorf, Nord, etc] into the environment better using the the tools in Logic. I've read a bit of stuff off of forums, but a lot of it just flies over my head.

Hi Steve A while back on your 'blog' section you mentioned a project where you used the Environment and it's magic to generate music randomly. So, I know this is quite vague, but something relating to using transformers etc and what you could use them for would be quite cool. Thanks Rounik

Hi Steve, Maybe it's too obvious for most people, but I'd love to get some tips on accurately editing audio files. What I mean is cutting and re-aligning slightly (or even horribly) out of time guitar/bass/drum parts so that they all groove together. Maybe there are some rules of thumb about the positioning of the attack part of a guitar before it hits its peak (eg, is it best to place the peak on the beat or the beginning of the attack) etc. Also finding the best place to cut in guitar parts can sometimes be a frustrating trial and error experience if there are no obvious gaps or transitions. Love the sidechain tutorial, by the way - amazingly clear and understandable. Cheers, Lord Scrotum

Thanks Rounik[/quote] I was gonna ask the exact same thing... or at least a screenshot of the "hundreds MIDI objects: arpegiators, chord memorizers, transformers, switches, faders, and other cool stuff (...) thoughtfully patched together in Logic's environment" as a bonus to the TNT. Talking about the transformer would be great too!

Hey Steve! Thanks for caring about my insomnia problem... ;-) Seriously, that was Pacific Time and I live in Montreal. It was around 8 :30 AM in reality.
