[quote:4039]Re. Bouncing: You can record the arp's midi output if you place it between the physical input and the sequencer's input. Then the resulting recorded midi data can be bounced offline. Sounds like you have the external control if the arp's parameters under control... congrats!![/quote] Having that external control over environment faders is kinda neat, glad to figure that part out (a bit at least)... For recording the arpeggiator's output, please be more specfic. I've connected the arpeggiator to the sequencer's input, however, when i'd have the arpeggiator's lane in record mode, and try to perform and record some arpeggiating, the 'repeat' function of the arpeggiator does not work. so it will arpeggiate just one pattern, it doesn't 'hold'... (making it still unpractical thing to work with) thanks for replying, nice :)

Vocoder stuff would be cool.. as would knowing a little bit more about the tuning preferences under song settings. I've had a look in there before but couldn't work out the impact on different instruments and their scales. Can you, for example, randomise the out of tuneness (there's my word for the day) for specific instruments, as in, say you chose South Indian Vina, acc. to Ellis and used that for a Grand piano, can you get it to twist the tuning of the piano? I've selected all kinds of things in there with seemingly no effect. Can it be extended to a more practical use instead of experimental type sounds and say make a honky tonky bar piano out of a grand? All these questions and more, coming to a computer screen near you....

I covered the vocoder in detail in Plugins: Unplugged... I suppose I could do an updated version!

You can randomize the out-of-tuneness right in the EXS24!
