Logic Express 7.2 allows five (5) DSP Plugins per channel strip, one more then what Martin explained in Logic 101.

Hi logicstarter, suggest you buy Logic 101 from MacProvideo. I did it and no regret, it is a great help not only for beginners. The problem is that you will feel like upgrading to Logic Pro, i mean, you will feel like one.

How I can record vocals in Logic and get that warm and thick sound one gets when using expensive preamps like Avalon,etc. Any help? Thanks in advance, macnando

Hi Matt, Thanks for you reply. My system is quite simple, I use a M-Audio Firewire 410 interface that has pre-amps built in and a AKG C-3000B mic. I know one cannot do magic but, this is what I have so far. Thanks for any tip.
