Hello, I noticed that Garageband Tutorials are built on Garageband 8 not 3.0.1 which is what comes with OS 10.4.11 However I don't know if Leopard 10.5 comes with iLife 08 so for those who want to purchase the tutorials it may not be useful without the application it built upon.

Rounik, thanks for telling me. I understand that if I got a late 2006 macbookpro I would have gotten ilife 06 but I purchased a early 2006 in October of 2006 as a brand new computer. I don't think I have iLife however I do have Garageband 3 iPhoto iDVD and i Web. In any event $79 is a lot of money Alan

Rounik, Logic 8 uses some Garageband instruments which are Garageband 3 instruments but isn't it true that Garageband 8 would have more? I would like to enhance mixing skills however to enhance music in Logic but podcast could be interesting but I haven't tried to make a podcast. Thanks, Alan

Yes it is either Garageband 08 or Magic Garageband. We are still saying that there aren't any more sounds that are in Logic 8 than it uses from version 3 but the tutorial is built on version 4 as a standalone application. In other words the effects are in Logic so the tutorial applies to Logic 8. You said the effects are better does that means Logics effects are better? I thought it did but I wasn't sure. Thanks, AW

Hello, I would like to know if it's possible to monitor just the selected frequency range selected in the file. When in the frequency view using the cross hair the frequency tool I think it is selecting the entire file at that selection point. What I was trying to do is to reduce the breathing on a vocal region. Also if I open a region in Soundtrack Pro 2 Options menu it opens up the complete file or all regions located on the same track. I wish the frequency interface was easier to work with. Thanks, Alan

Hello, I usually drag the audio file into stp but no mixer will ever show up. Also even if I make an Apple loop and open it back up in stp then the clip menu items are grayed out. I wanted dragged a surround sound bounce but there I can't see if it's surround sound but on wave burner surround does not exist.

Hello, I got access to the mixer doing this but I noticed that even if a clip is saved as a user appleloop it doesn't have access to pitch speed or speed changes those are unavialble.
