    August's arpegiator tnt
Hi Steve wanted to start a whole new thread on your fantastic arpegiator videos. I thought i knew arp's inside out - you've just informed me in a great way on a few other pointers, and inspired me musically too. I also love the way you slotted in the use of cable switching....thank you! I've been dying to get more practical ways of using faders & other objects in the environment. However, I think Igor might be a bit upset that his name has been changed from EE-gor (Plug-ins videos) to I-gor. Did he mention this to you or is he too shy? Thanks again & keep up the good work. 5 stars. I might even cancel some of my magazine subscriptions because these TNTs are so good and better for the environment too! Now I can't wait till September. Best Rounik

Just wanted to add to the praise Steve. The power of the Environment never ceases to amaze me. Apple should get you to write the manual! Actually, this made me think that I could use the Environment to create a virtual "chord memory" object. I'll have to try that out or maybe that could be a new tutorial-- if it's even possible. Great episode!

Not only has his name changed, but the hump on his back has moved from the left shoulder to the right shoulder.... it's very disconcerting... I'm not even sure if Igor is really Igor anymore.... oh well... what's a master to do?

yup... You CAN adjust any parameter in a floating window by grabbing it, turning it, clicking on it and selecting it with a mouse action. AND you're right about floating windows not being the active window... Only active windows will accept KBD input! Also you can order a TNT BIB for you saliva problem... Igor is selling them for $4.99 on his website. See ya, Professor Steve

Dear Steve, Wonderful tutorial, I have my arpegiator in a little floating window over my autoload.lso. And I also put it working as a menu, option possible when you double click on the Cable Switcher and check the box Behave as Menu, as you know. I prepared six different arpeggios and, doing so, I don't have to run through all options if I just want to go back one step, is that clear for you? My question is: how to make my sustain pedal hold the arpegio chord? It would be possible to make smooth arpegio harmony changes. Thanks a lot! macnando
