    FCP 5.0.4. And Canon HV20
    I just purchased a high def camcorder, canon HV20, have not been able to import the HD video into FCP 5.0.4 Can't find the right setting under easy set-up. Can you help me? Thanks. Peter Laboy

    Hi P.Laboy Welcome to the MacProVideo Forums! The HV20 is a sweet camera - especially in HD mode ;-) In FCP you need to go to File > Log and capture Then select the settings that match the HV20 settings and tape you were using. e.g. if you recorded in HD NTSC, then make sure the capture settings are set to HD NTSC.     I think the HV20 records in the MPEG format so you might try changing the Capture Settings to use the Apple Intermediate Codec.
