    Still Frames Shake on DVD
Perhaps it's because I'm using an older version of Final Cut Pro but I continue to have an annoying problem with still frames. One of my favorite effects is to pause frames where flash bulbs from cameras just went off in the video. I simply pause that frame for a few short seconds and then continue the motion in the video where it left off. This looks great on the computer but has a horrible glitch once the video is on DVD. The image has a blurred shake to it and looks aweful. This happens no matter what type of still image I try to create from my videos. Any suggestions?

Put a deinterlace filter on the still frame.
