hello! i have a sony camara HVR-A1P , its HDV 1080i i would like to know how configure to import my video to the FCS, or any recomendation for good quality, because when i try to import my video i cannot , i go to capture settings in device control i do DVCPRO HD FireWire and Capture/Input i do DVCPRO HD 1080i50 48 Khz,i do capture but nothing the camara run, also the time in final but any capture of video! thanks for your help!!

Which version of Final Cut Pro are you using?

Try changing your capture settings to use Firewire for Device Control, but for the signal either use the correct HDV setting or have it convert to the new ProRes 422 signal. Don't try to capture it as a DVCPRO HD signal because it isn't!
