Just watched it. Fantastic! As has been stated, this TNT opened up many avenues of experimentation. But... I was a bit disappointed that you didn't explore using side-chains as audio sound sources within a Logic soft synth. It seems that there could be the POTENTIAL for all manner of audio craziness using this routing in conjunction with the effects. If I know my manual, Sculpture and the poor, neglected ES1 can use an audio source modulator. I think that's it? (Why am I thing of Ultrabeat...) In any event, I use the audio side chain source within Sculpture, NI's Absynth & FM8 regularly but, I've never been able to get anything using this method with the ES1 worth recording. Ah well... Looking forward to the January TNT.

NICE February tutorial Steve. The use of the Transformer object was way cool and shows why it is one of my favorite tools. Could you do more TNTs using Environment Objects? My suggestions- 1- Touch Tracks Object 2- Chord Memorizer Object And- 3 - Granular Audio Manipulation. I use Reason and/or a Kaos pad to get this glitchy audio grain effect and was wondering if it could be done using the Transformer and some advanced Environment routing. Maybe have the Transformer repeat the last note? Is this possible in Logic at all? Thanks. Looking forward to March.

Just watched the March TNT. Spectacular. One of the best yet. PLEASE do more in this vein. I think all of us are a bit hesitant and unsure when it comes to creating sophisticated Environment routing setups. Any tricks you can shed would be most helpful. Looking forward to April!!

Great TNT again Steve. I'll have to give this Comp technique a serious look. I usually do the exact same workflow in Reason's ReCycle. .. and of course the new Logic features you previewed were fantastic! I second poster [b]ME[/b] 's earlier suggestion- incorporate a hardware synth into the Logic workflow. I've always found the interaction between the digital synth realm and hardware synth realm challenging and kind of backward. Any TNT's you could share would be awesome! [i]An Example[/i]- Take a short song or loop where you have the hardware synth provide the bassline for the verse then change (via program change) to a string section in the chorus and back to the bassline for the verse. I would encourage you to complicate this example to your hearts content. :) Maybe add some modulations and controller information to the hardware synth automation? Add two hardware synths? Etc, etc. Thanks!
