Hey, I had the same problem, actually it didn't have anything to do with FCP, but with the setting in QT. Did you check that in quicktime when you view the movie after your exort, the setting is like this: Go to the Presentation tab in QT player and toggle Conform Aperture to Production to see it unsqueezed. Oh yes, that's great news! Please make it as "advanced" as possible. Learning about how Loopmash and other amusing pluggins work is nice but sincerely, these are gadgets. What's important is how you can use Cubase to ease the composition, production and mixing sessions. Nice tuto on the new automation panel, btw!
