Hi katapulse, I don't have any info to share on a future 'Cubase and music for picture' title... but we definitely have more tutorials planned for Cubase. Feel free to add it to the suggested training forum: http://www.macprovideo.com/forum/general/suggested-training Thanks! Rounik

Would it be possible to clearly note in the tutorials (either via a small popup icon, or a quick statement) which features are unavailable in Cubase Studio 5. Some suggestions for topics on the next Cubase 5 tutorial: - Phase reverse - Advanced EQ tips - Specific Steinberg Inserts, i.e. - Delays - Dynamics - Modulation - Reverb - The Automation Panel - Setting Up and Using Drum Maps Not sure if these should go in the Cubase tutorial. But I'd like to see a quick overview of useful free or paid plugins that can aid in the mixing/mastering workflows (e.g. Solid State Logic, Ozone vs. T-Racks). Also an overview of some of the guitar, drums, strings, synth VST instruments available and any recommendations/tips (e.g. Guitar Rig vs. Amplitube).

Hi Luke, Thanks for the suggestions! In regards to plugins for Mixing and Mastering, have you checked out our 'Hot Products' section on NEDweb: http://www.macprovideo.com/tutorials/audio-genre The Guitar Rig vs Amplitube sounds like a whole new tutorial: http://www.macprovideo.com/forum/general/suggested-training Thanks Rounik

Hi, hesitated to download NED and get tutorials for some time after reading PC nightmare BUT did so and the tutorials work just fine in Win XP (SP3 NETFRAME 3.5). So compare and contrast Cubase to Logic - much is missing from Cubase. 400+ mins of Mathew's 101 tutorial is cool but like he says it only scratches the surface - so lets have more we are only and beginner level 2 with this one. When Mathew suggests he uses WAVELAB for mastering this suggests he is a PC user - so am I and I'd like to see a full Wavelab set even though it is non-Mac. My only criticism of Cubase 101 is the song. After 400 mins I hate it but it is stuck in my head. Great start but cut Methew some slack and let him move through intermediate to advanced Cubase - it is at least as powerful as Logic. best wishes, Neil

Hi Neil, Glad to know you've enjoyed the Cubase tuts so far (and the Live and NI ones too ;-) Thanks for the suggestions. We definitely have some more Cubase tuts planned. Feel free to leave suggestions for training in our "Suggested Training" forum as well: http://www.macprovideo.com/forum/general/suggested-training Thanks :) Rounik
