I am new to Mainstage. My interest is very basic. I want to be able to perform live vocal on on karaoke tracks (import them) . I have both applications installed on my new macbook pro. Input device - Microphone via apogee duet to macbook pro Pre-made Karaoke track which would be imported in these applications output device - sound to speakers Question:- 1) what steps do i need to do in mainstage 2. Is there a default setup that I can import? 2) for vocals, are there any special additional plug-ins that would be worth looking into other than what comes with logic pro and/or mainstage This is purely for my fun parties. I do have a genuine interest to learn. Any pointers would be be highly appreciated.

I'd suggest watching this free tutorial on Mainstage 2 here: [url]http://play.macprovideo.com/mainstage-2-100-quicklook-guide/intro[/url] There are a myriad of ways to setup Mainstage to do what you want, so best to learn the basic language of MS2 and then let us know if you have any questions. Hi Satish - That's an old link.. I've attached a link (above) to the most up-to-date course on MainStage.. In particular, Videos 11 &12 cover Vocal Presets & Backing Track Presets, and Video 24 covers the Playback Plug-in.
