    New Course: Logic Remote
As if Logic Pro wasn't already a great deal, Logic Remote is a free iOS app that acts as a remote control and companion app for both Logic and GarageBand. Trainer Nigel Broad covers it in detail in this new course.. Logic Remote is not just a remote control -- it's a control surface, a MIDI controller, and a dynamic Smart Help manual all rolled into one app. Nigel's new course covers it all, from setup to mixing to performance techniques using Touch Instruments, Live Loops, and Remix FX. The course starts off by showing how to set up Logic Remote to communicate with the computer to control Logic, GarageBand, or even MainStage. Then it goes over the useful Coaching Tips, Help, and Smart Help functions, and provides a tour of the user interface, demonstrating how to navigate Projects. This is followed by a deep dive into mixing, working with plugins, automation, playing Touch Instruments, Live Loops, FX, the Step Sequencer, and more. There's no need to stay tethered to the computer to work in Logic, GarageBand, or MainStage -- Logic Remote can open up new workflows, and this Logic Remote course is the key to getting the most out of this must-have app.

    Re: New Course: Logic Remote
Hi, I've been studying this course and I can't see how a person can interact with track stacks/folders in Remote. The only way seems to have to go back to the host and interact with a mouse, trackpad, or key command Is it possible to do that in Remote, or am I missing something? Thanks

    Re: New Course: Logic Remote
Hi Kirehuo - I couldn't find anything to suggest how [or if] Logic Remote might address Track Stack functionality [no mention of it in the docs], but I don't have a suitable device here, so I can't try it out [it's been years since I had access to Logic Remote]. A search only turned up one reference, which suggested that you have to collapse or expand tracks stacks from the Mac, but it was a very old thread, so that could be way out of date. Just guessing here, but maybe it might be possible to set up Key Commands in Logic Remote to access the Logic Key Commands that relate to Track Stacks..? Hopefully a regular/current Logic Remote user/guru will weigh in with a more definitive answer..
