Jan 25th, 2021, 03:30
Cubase is one of the original DAWs, and Cubase 11 is powerful application, packed with many audio and MIDI features. Fortunately, Matt Hepworth's new course "Cubase 11: Recording and Editing" reveals how it's done!
The course starts off by creating a new project from the Steinberg Hub and setting up Cubase to work with the audio interface. It covers the metronome and count-in options, and other important settings to quickly start recording.
Next, the course digs into adding instrument & audio tracks to the project and laying tracks; and shows different ways to record MIDI and audio, from building a virtual drum performance with Groove Agent SE to recording an electric bass guitar track. All the different recording modes are covered, including recording and layering multiple MIDI and audio tracks. Once tracks are all recorded, the course gets into the cool editing tools and features that Cubase has to offer: quantizing, transposing, comping, crossfading, and more.
Any Cubase users who are ready to take it to the next level will want to check out this course, and dig deep into recording and editing in Cubase 11.
