I love this whole series by Gregg Fine. He presents music theory in such a clear and simple way, people who are intimidated by the thought of approaching the subject (as I was) no longer have to worry. His series is very empowering. Each course builds on the previous ones so I would start at the beginning if I were a newbie or 'meh' on my theory knowledge.

What a wonderful course! It's smartly laid out and the illustrations add a humorous angle that makes the lessons so fun. The audio examples are helpful to understanding the material by getting you to actually hear the sounds of the concepts presented. 5-Stars!

I love this particular tutorial in the series. It explains the circle of fifths quite well and also chord progressions in a fresh and practical way.

I started this series with the chord progression, but needed some refreshment on the other parts. In the end I followed the whole music theory series. Very useful and a fun way to learn everything in depth. Sometimes the chords are still a mystery, but practice makes perfect.

Great course, very well explained. I've taken the quiz and I have another point of view about a question. I don't think that a b11 could be considered an extension, it is equal to a major third.

This course has been as beneficial to my music theory studies as the harmony course I am taking at a private school right now. Given the length of time, this tutorial covers a broad range of beginners and intermediate harmonic concepts that give you a solid foundation in this specific area of focus.
