In my opinion, this course struck a perfect balance: excellent examples of each technique with just enough details to give one really useful insights, without bogging one down in too much info. One can see each concept put in to practice (sometimes with several examples) and from there, one can easily jump into incorporating the techniques into one’s own composing. So important! Each video was efficient and quick, giving one just the right amount of information to digest. I highly recommend the course!

Such a great course. Straight to the point, beautifully presented, easy to understand, and fun. I didn't feel like I was studying so much as just enjoying myself. And you learn so much in such an efficient easy way. Greg is fantastic at bringing music theory alive. This course gives you a lot of avenues to explore for creating more interesting / surprising chord progressions while also helping you understand why they work.

This is a comprehensive and easy to understand course about chord progressions. It's organized in a neatly arranged order and clears out the clutter of random information out there on the internet and in music education circles. I studied harmony both in college and university and I never heard the concept of chord progressions explained in such a simple way. This course definitely filled some of my knowledge gaps with chord progressions and stuff that were once all over the place and random. I found this course by accident and I'm glad I found it! I will have plenty of stuff to memorize during the Christmas holidays!

This excellent course contains a lot of basic concepts relating to chord progressions, clearly illustrated with examples at every step. The examples are simple, which makes it easy to hear the point they are demonstrating. For those like me with a minimal and shaky grasp of music theory, I think this is a very practical introduction that will be easy to apply in creating your own chord progressions and making them better.

I have been doing music for long time. Read theory of and on. This is very a very compact and good course that you should review and rehearse until you know all the stuff in it by heart. That will improve you as a musician - guaranteed. i found the topics very well explained and with good examples.

I started the series with this one. Gregg is so much a specialist, I soon understood I needed the other courses first to fully understand this one. I followed them all and enjoyed every one of them. Great in depth tutorial.
