Overview
Status: Available | Released: Jan 31st, 2018
Native Instruments' Komplete needs no introduction. Chances are you already own it, and if you don't, it must surely be at the top of your shopping list. It is probably the most versatile audio software bundle money can buy, but its selection of plugins is so wide it can be very intimidating to know where to start. Thankfully, Native Instruments Product Specialist Matt Cellitti is here to help you fully understand Komplete's flagship synthesizers.

In this course, Matt shares his deep knowledge of NI Komplete synthesizers. He starts by revealing how to master the king of monophonic synths, Monark. You learn all about its oscillators, filters and modulators, and you discover why it's the best emulation of the Minimoog available today.

The extremely popular Massive is next on the list. After giving an overview of what Massive can do, Matt shows how to use this plugin to create everything from ambient pads to extremely aggressive leads. Matt then gets digital with the awesome FM8 and dives deep into the intricacies of FM synthesis. You also discover the immense sonic potential of Absynth 5. As you will see and hear, this semi-modular is perfect for creating otherworldly pads and evolving soundscape... or simple bass and leads if you wish. And last but certainly not least, Matt gives a good overview of the infinite power offered by Reaktor and its ever-expanding library.

After "kompleting" this course, not only will you have a very good understanding of Komplete's main synths, but you will also have a good understanding of every type of synthesis in general (subtractive, wavetable, FM, and beyond).
