I have had a Maschine Mk.3 for years and never really used it. Did this course and I can't stop using it.

Excellent stuff from Matt, as always. I knew nothing about Form before coming to this series but now feel that I've got a pretty solid grasp of its most important functions. Engagingly delivered, with a variety of sound-design ideas and preset breakdowns that really help to solidify what's been learned.

Just...wow! Loved this course so much. Rounds is completely awesome and completely de-mystified by this fantastic series. I enjoyed it so much and cannot wait to do another series on synths from Matt. He is a major asset to NI.

Fantastic. So clear and easy to understand. Everything is explained so well, with lots of common sense. Pacing is perfect. The best way to learn Maschine Mk3 that I have found. Highly recommended for beginners, or experienced users wanting to brush up on certain things.

This guy is the original Maschine guru, and I gotta say, after some initial reluctance to dedicate my undivided attention to this course, Im grateful I did. One thing is for sure- you WILL learn how to use Maschine in its entirety if you pay attention to this course. Laid back approach. Easy to chew up. Really solid instructor. Fantastic course

I've had NI Komplete since version 5 and every 2 or 3 years when the offer is too good to refuse I buy the upgrade. All of their instrument are so deep that between those, Logic, Kontact Instruments and mixing plugins, I need something like an MPV library pass to even scratch the surface of what can be done. Finally getting the time to dig into Reaktor and it just points out how good the value proposition NI provides really is, This course did a good job of getting into Blocks and helping make fun and inspiring sounds almost immediately. It provided a good background into the ideas of modular synthesis and enough concreteness that when I read the Reaktor manual now it isn't all Greek. While I was going through it patching along with the instructor I thought of something potentially useful I'd like to share. Matt said he was waiting for the day when they came up with a module that allowed Blocks to be polyphonic. Just recently I did Josh Carney's sound design in Logic course and this occurred to me. You could use Blocks in plugin mode and Logic's sampler to map it over the keyboard. You'd lose the ability to tweak parameters on the fly, but if you had a patch you really wanted to hear as a pad, it would get the job done. Thanks to MPV and their instructors with every new course I feel like I can take these instruments and get some personal musical expression from them and that's a big reason we do this.
