hi im very new to all this and if you look at my first attempt at doing a music vid ('Animal Jack Band Lights of Joyland)' you can see where im at (or not at yet :) ) Im only aiming at doing stuff along those lines otherwise I will be well out of my depth ...our next song is roughly based on 'Theres a ghost in my house 'R Dean Taylor - but in our case there isn't .......but Im thinking of projecting images into a house ....like opening a cupboard and there's a face inside etc.....so im wondering how I can create the framework of the interior of a house and then get the images in there ....do I need to physically film the insides of a house ....or maybe use a dolls house ...or I dont really know... Hi Jack - I'm an audio guy myself [not a video expert], but I think what you're describing would be done via Compositing in a video editor..? You didn't mention which video program(s)|platform you've been working with or have access to -- that would be helpful to be able to point you to some courses that cover that and other techniques for video effects.. Thanks, I will have a look at those tonight . Ive been working, (playing) in Logic for the music and then doing the visual stuff in Final Cut
