Hey there. So I am a new user to mpv and actually just completely new to everything regarding 4k HDR videos etc. So I have this super dumb question, but when you guys are watching HDR content on the pc with a HDR monitor, do you enable HDR in windows or does the player do that it self?

Unfortunately I'm not a Windows guy either, and don't have any specific advice. It looks like you need to make sure the monitor supports HDR, that Windows has recognised it, and that the software supports it. Unfortunately progress on the PC side is slower here than on the Mac.
