    Can't create proxy?
When trying to create a proxy i get the following error: "the selected preset does not support the audio channel type of the clip" I have tried changing the proxy presets settings to match the audio settings of the original clip with no success. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Alex

    Re: Can't create proxy?
Hi Alex - A quick search for that error message phrase "premiere pro proxy error selected preset does not support the audio channel type of the clip" suggested that that's not uncommon, though discussions often got into a lot of very specific detail.. One recurring theme seemed to be the Proxy file and the original file not having the same number of audio channels..? I'm not a Premiere user myself (I'm really an audio guy), so I can't offer you answers, but hopefully an experienced Premiere expert will have some advice.. Here's a link to an Adobe Support page on Proxy Workflow, maybe that'll be helpful.. https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/using/ingest-proxy-workflow.html And here's another link to some additional Premier Pro courses, perhaps one of them will get into this topic.. https://www.macprovideo.com/library/application/premiere?afid=E470KLQ7r9 Btw, I've moved this thread to the dedicated Premiere Pro subforum..
