Hi I am relatively new to premiere pro so please cut me some slack! You’re help would be really appreciated. I am making a video on the key figures of ww2 and for the intro I want to quickly display them fade away them I.e. winston Churchill then hitler etc 2 things I need to do really. One is to fade the image away as a new one emerges - is this possible? More importantly I want to strip away the background from each video. For instance in the link below he is seen speaking at a rally but I just want his figure displayed, not the background behind him. Is there a way of doing this. Hi - I'm not a Premiere Pro user, but I'm sure you can do the first -- the crossfade -- easily with a Transition. I would guess you can also do the second in Premiere, though I'd imagine that will depend on the specific background you're trying to remove. I'm an audio guy myself, so I'm not sure of the terminology for that, or how Premiere Pro would handle it. I've attached a Premier Pro course on Effects -- maybe check out the video on Transitions and some of the later videos, and see if there's anything helpful in there, and perhaps a Premier Pro guru will jump in with more definitive answers..
