    Auto Save issue
I am quite new to Premiere Pro. I am working on a project, and the auto save settings is set to every 5 minutes. Then I closed the project, and when I went to Adobe Premiere Pro Auto-Save, it didn't save today and yesterday's work, which is weird. Obviously I am doing something wrong. Please I need help:) Thank you

    Re: Auto Save issue
Assuming you have the Auto-Save options set correctly, I suppose it could be a [hard disk] permissions issue , but usually you get a warning message if permission issues prevent an Auto-Save form happening. On Adobe's support pages there was some discussion of the Auto-Save feature being unreliable -- the best bet would seem to be to get in the habit of saving manually every time you perform an important edit or operation. Just hit Command-S [Mac] or Control-S [PC] constantly, or Save As if you want to have alternate versions of the project in progress. I save manually every few minutes whenever I'm working in my DAW of choice -- I even periodically drag the project folder over to the backup HD, just to be as safe and up-to-date as possible at all times; it takes a less than a second and after a while it becomes second nature.
