what dpi is best for images in iDVD
My images are 5x7 at 96dpi jpeg and they look very bad after burning in iDVD they looked very sharp in preview. Even the them ( an old one which is pink with little animated childes foot prints going across it) looks bad. My slide show is 671 images. Also my audio is mp3 should I just use the aiff file for better sound. When I do a "get info" on the burned DVD it says I only used 1.52 GB of a regular 4.2 GB disk. So I guess I have plenty of room for larger images. Also I burned it at "16:9 Professional Quality. I noticed as I was working on it, in the Project info window at the bottom "Asset Encoding, it never had anything in it? I'm runing the very latest Snow Leopard and a mac INTEL will 9GB RAM and plenty of HD space. Thanks

Thanks, so it looks like I need to resize all my images to 720X480 at 72dpi not much of a change from what I had at 672X498 at 96dpi. I can't see how this is going to increase my quality. I've done a little research and it looks like everyone is have quality issues with iDVD turning to mush after burning. I changed my Encoding of 671 images from Pro Quality to High and my aspect ratio to 4:3 and things got a little better. But I read some where that I should make thise changes before I even import anything to work with. Confused. Thanks
