Apple has released Final Cut Pro X 10.6, and Iain Anderson's free course "What's New in Final Cut Pro 10.6" has all the details.
The course covers new features in FCPX 10.6 such as tracked motion graphics and the ability to edit videos recorded in Cinematic mode. The course starts out by going over the new Object Tracker, a tool that can follow the movement of objects in a video, and shows how to use this new functionality to track a color correction effect to a moving object in a clip. It covers working with multiple trackers, correcting a track when necessary, and using tracking on a person's face. The course also shows how you can edit the depth effect of videos recorded in Cinematic mode (with the new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro), as well as how to customize the List View columns in Final Cut's browser to show exactly what needs to be viewed.
Final Cut users will definitely want to check out this free course and get the skinny on the cool features in Final Cut Pro X 10.6.
