Hello. I am fairly new to FC Studio 2. I know very little about Soundtrack II but I was hoping someone could give me some help. How do I take a part of a song, delete it, and then replace it with another part of a song or my own voice? I have watched several MacPro Video Tutorials, but haven't got to Soundtrack yet. Sorry. Rounik, All I really want to do is take one word (or phrase) from a song and then put in another word or phrase from another song or just use my own recorded voice. I am sure this is a simple step I just haven't had time to go through the tutorial. Thanks. Scott

SLOWWWWWWWW! Help! My DVDSP4 project is VERY slow. I am wondering if my settings are off or what??? I have 3gb or RAM so I don't think that is the problem. Every menu I try and access takes FOREVER. Rendering is a joke...I originally posted this as a FCP problem, then realized it was DVDSP4. Any ideas?

I have been capturing footage from my Canon GL2 using iMovie b/c it pretty much does it automatically when iMovie is open. I then import my clips into FCP. Can you tell me how to capture an entire dv tape into FCP and skip the iMovie step? Thanks. Scott

How do I get an image of an arrow that I superimpose onto a clip stay with a particular person in that clip? For example, I would like to have an arrow follow a basketball player for about 3 seconds as that player moves across the court. Thank you in advance. Scott

I told a friend that I could probably help him with a small project. He has a Sony HD camcorder that records in 1080i AVCHD format. The event is a basketball game. · He will record the event and then give me the raw footage on regular DVDs that I load onto my hard drive. · He wants me to edit, produce and render a professional finished product in full 1080i and then render it down to DVD quality to make regular DVDs. (His words exactly) · He wants me to provide 1080i rendered finished product (keep it in the same format that he gives me; 1080i AVCHD) on dual layer regular DVDs (probably about 2 to 3 dual layer DVDs) He wants a regular dvd but also wants the higher quality so he can burn a Blue Ray disc as well. I have a Macintosh OS 10x I use FCP 6 I have a Canon GL2 that I use all the time to capture my footage, edit and then create dvds. I am unsure how to take the dvds he gives me and produce the project with his specs. Could you please walk me through what settings I will need to use, and how to get the raw footage from his DVD into FCP? Thanks! Scott
