Although it is very young, and needs to mature, but even at version 1.2 it is quite a powerful DAW, I can just imagine it becoming a serious competitor to many other DAWs at version 2.0 Thanks, Muziksculp

Hi, I have already downloaded Chapters (1 to 7) of Mastering Logic 8 101. I just noticed that Chapter 8 is posted, so I wanted to download it, but N.E.D does not seem to detect this update when I click on 'Update'. Should I just wait and try again later. or is there a problem ? Thanks

Yes, all is working OK, I did download chapter 8. The reason for the problem was that the videos were not yet all uploaded on the NED surver when I was trying to download the videos.

Hi, Are there any LP8 tutorials that show how to, and the best way to work with Multi-Timbral and Multi-Output Virtual Instruments such as Native Instruments Kontakt, and how to deal with automating volume and pan indepently for each midi part, since LP8 handles this a bit different than other DAWS ? If this is not yet covered in the tutorials, it would be a great tutorial to have, since many LP8 users work with VI samplers, such as Kontakt 2/3, Stylus RMX, and many other Multi-Timbral and Multi Output VI's. Hi Christian, Thanks for the info., I'm not sure if Kontakt 2/3 are handled in the same fashion as Ultrabeat or Stylus RMX,, but many users seem to have issues when applying volume and pan automation to Kontakt 2/3, independently for each midi part. (midi parts 1 Ch1, Part 2 Ch2, ... Part 16 Ch 16). According to what I have read, is that when you apply volume or pan automation to one part of the multi-inst., it affects the entire 16 parts together, so all parts are automated, instead of the one part (i.e part 1, Ch1), one solution is assign seperate aux outs for each instrument part of Kontakt and then automate Aux's volume and pan. What are the other options to do this without using Aux outs ? Thanks.

Hi I had downloaded Logic 8 101 tutorials, and all was working fine, I recently downloaded Logic 303 TNT, which I can play, but for some reason when I try to play Logic 8 101 tutorials, they don't play (nothing happens when I double click on the tutorial icon, should I delete Logic 8 101 tutorials from my HD and download again ? This is going to take quite a bit of time, is there any reason for this issue, or other way to solve it besides downloading the entire Logic 8 101 tutorials again ? Thanks.

Well, I trashed LP 8 101 tutorials, and I'm downloading them again, now I can play LP 8 101, but now I can't play the Logic 303 TNT tutorials, which are already on my disc, what's the deal here ? Please help... Do I need to restart the computer ? or ... Thanks.

In the Admin. I had Logic 8 101 tuned off while I was downloading Logic 8 303 TNT tutorials. Could this be the problem, Do I need to have tutorials that I want to play, even the tutorials that I have already downloaded (ie. Logic 8 101) set to ON when downloading other tutorials ? Thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean, if I click on the icon, it also highlights the text (which is below the icon, NOT next to the icon), by double clicking on the icon, or text below it, I was able to run the program. Well, now I'm downloading both Logic 8 101 and Logic 8 303 TNT tutorials once again, with both tutorials set to 'ON' in the Admin. page, hopefully I will be able to play both tutorial. Note : I can play some of the already downloaded Logic 8 101 tutorials, once some of the TNT tutorials are also downloaded, I will test if I can play both LP8 101 and LP 303 TNT. and update this post.
