Is there a way to permanently trim away some blank space from video clip. I have a video where there is a lot of blank headroom above the Speaker. I know I can use Crop to trim it away, but the problem is that the clip is still there, it's just hidden.
More than that if I apply a Shape using Track Matte Key to that clip, the Matte takes the entire the size of the clip, ignoring the cropped out headroom and position the speaker to the bottom of the Shape.
The clip is now part of short film and mixed in with other clips. I just want to do this cutting out just for a small portion of the clip with this issue.
Is there a way to completely cut-out that empty space from the clip?
Thank you.
