why are people always in such a rush to bang the latest os on there puters. I've been doing this now since my Vic20 and the golden rule that has not changed, infact I would say is more relevant today, is never install anything with a zero at the end. OS 8.0 was pants 8.1 fine. 9.0 pants 9.22 great. and so on. We are all used to bug test this stuff, not to mention the debuggers that are installed with the "0" version of any software. If you like making music leave it alone till it has lost the "0" and dont get me started on Logic 8 . . . . Cheers All

I use to be enthusiastic about new software but some of make music and I have to deal with the guys in tears who loose there albums I dont want to turn this into a long thread I am merely advising people with active projects to stay where they are unless they are software developers Rupe

I used to be into the software side but there's just too much politics behind the scene. This is far too longer conversation for here. Its more a beer in a pub conversation. thing I am always being asked for is good solid well played kit drum loops that don't show off but just sit in a track for a songwriter and dont get in the way. Too often programming becomes about showing how good cats can program rather than making stuff that sits in tracks. Make a library of straight, shuffle and 6/8 drums played by a really good drummer withh verse chorus and fill grooves and you'll be laughing. Oh and not to much processing but a nice subtle room sound

I was very disapointed with the soundtrack. tutorials. As the main use of this program is for using and sending audio backwards and forwards from FCP I was staggered by the fact that it hardly touches those issues and only briefly discusses getting audio out of FCP and unless I am mistaken doesnt mention the journey the other way at all Rupe
