This situation usually occurs when you open a project from one computer to another. If the MIDI configurations aren't identical on both machines, Cubase will present this window so that you can route the old MIDI destinations to one (or more) on your current computer. However, it can also happen with templates that are saved with one configuration, but are then opened when Cubase has been assigned a new configuration. The easiest way to solve it is to change the missing port to a new mapped port, and make sure to click the Map Always option. I hope that helps. MattLTH

Thanks for the kind words, Derry. There are advantages to each. Sonarworks has the advantage of their app called Systemwide, which allows you to use Reference on the sound system of your Mac and PC at all times. That way, all the sound coming through your browser, music player, and other programs can be equalized by the same profile as the one you use in WaveLab or any other pro audio program. (ARC cannot do that.) The advantage of ARC is that you can design your own response curves. For musicians/producers who have lost some of their hearing in certain frequency bands, ARC can help bring those levels up so that the user can craft the EQ to flatten their own hearing curve. (Sonarworks cannot do that.) I'd recommend getting an audiogram from a qualified audiologist to help design or customize your own curve. I reviewed both programs at Ask.Audio.
