Hi All,
I'm new here and new(er) to the whole recording thing on a computer. I come from the art world where most of the applications used are similar and you can find your way around fast through experience with other apps. Audio applications are however very different. I have 2 questions to ask of you, I'm hoping someone has the answers.
SO, the first. I know Return or Enter will bring my scrubber to the beginning of the timeline, pressing space bar will then play the tracks from the beginning. Is there a keyboard command to "Return to the top AND play"?.
Second question, I use a Wacom pen full time, don't even own a mouse. When in the midi editor (or any other window) sometimes I like to zoom in to work on the details. My problem here is navigation feels archaic. In any art program if I'm zoomed in on something and I want to "pan" around the document I can simply press space bar (I know that's PLAY in Pro Tools) and grab and drag the document to push it or pull it within it's window.
When Editing Midi I'd like to do the same thing as I move along the tune left to right. Right now all I can do is grab the "scroll bar" and pull it, is there an easier way or a "Drag Hand" that anyone knows of?
Thanks so much in advance!
