Hi forum really enjoying these Steve H tutorials... but I was watching TNT 2 with the vector fader controlling ES1 I tried to replicate it, and I can do everything but write automation by moving the V fader, or any fader. Writing automation the normal way such as: volume, pan on the channel strip, and moving knobs on ES1 for cutoff and resonance, all work fine. It's when I try to use the vector to write automation it doesn't work. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!

... this may be a silly question, but here's the scenario: I'm working on two adjacent audio regions, the result of two mics on one instrument, using the marquee to select elements of both as pairs and drag them around… Ok… if I move my mouse away and attend to other business, HOW can I select both again? When I select one, the other disappears under it's previous audio. Is there some preference I have to check? I know someone knows the answer to this. Hi Rounik– thanks for your reply. It's wierd– it doesn't do it all the time; it's kind of unpredictable... I don't like No Overlap because I want to keep my stems tidy, but I guess I'll have to. My workaround: If I option–shift the lower part of one section it marquees it– then I do the same to its sister section above it and both regions are selected and movable (also creating the same size regions underneath the two) Anyway– I just thought there was some secret select parameter that I accidentally have on... :) thanks!

Hi forum– I recently watched Olav's tutorial in Live, and in it he used the native synth (I forget what it was called) which had a LOOP function. It loops the attack and decay of the waveform when you keep your finger on the keyboard. Is there a similar feature on one of the synths in Logic? I looked but couldn't find it... thanks! moon

I have a MC 303 environment object. It doesn't have any faders or controls, but all the banks and patch names are entered... I don't know how to attach files onto this forum, but if you give me your email, I can send it to you.

syncing the MC303 sounds like a great idea, but I've never done that before... how exactly would I do that? And can you dump patterns from Logic into the MC303?
