    Arturia FX Collection Course
Marketed as Audio Effects You'll Actually Use, the plug-ins included in the Arturia FX Collection are authentic emulations of legendary audio processing gear with added modern features. The bundle includes Preamps, Compressors, Delays, Filters, and Reverbs -- 15 effects in all, meticulously analyzed, modeled, and reimagined to bring them into the 21st century. But to get the most out of emulations of classic effects, you not only need to know the plug-ins inside & out, but also a little about the originals. That's where this new course The Arturia FX Collection Explored comes in -- it goes through the collection one plug-in at a time, covering the various controls and features of each, while also uncovering the history behind the classic audio processors that inspired them. The course starts with an overview of the common features shared by these effects, like the toolbar, the advanced panel, and the preset browser. It then digs into the Preamp plug-ins, which provide the sound of analog EQ and preamp edge, and add a subtle vintage flavor to your recordings. The vintage Compressors are next, with a thorough look at the specific features of the UREI 1176, dbx 165, and Gates STA-LEVEL emulations. Next up are the three Delay effects included in the collection -- a tape delay (an emulation of the classic Roland Space Echo RE-201), an analog delay (an emulation of the Electro-Harmonix Memory Man delay/chorus pedal), and an Arturia original, the Delay ETERNITY, a digital delay with a modern design. This is followed by the Filter plug-ins, which offer up the filters sections from three famous synthesizers -- the Minimoog, Oberheim SEM, and Matrix-12 -- along with added modulation for more creative effects. The course concludes with the three reverbs -- models of a vintage Plate and Spring reverb, plus an advanced Digital Reverb of Arturia's own design. The Arturia FX Collection really are plug-ins you'll actually use, and this this course should help anyone use them to their fullest.
