    Logic Beginners Course
Hi Steve - Since the title of your post didn't really relate to the content, I've moved it to this new thread.. ThatSTEVE wrote: Quote: So far I am not impressed with the instruction style. for a moment I am assuming I do not understand the learning path. The Logic Pro 10.5 Whats new class seems like a delta class for someone who already knows Logic Pro X. What is the learning path for a new Logic Pro X user who is starting with Logic Pro X 10.4? Do I talk some of the older models first? Steve Quote End You are correct, the What's New in Logic 10.5 course is an introduction to the new features in 10.5, not an introduction to Logic in general for brand new Logic users. If you're just getting started with Logic you'll want to turn to this course (attached) and its followups on the basics of working in Logic.

    Thanks, quick question
Thanks Joe .. appreciate the pointer to this course. Question, as this class was created pre-10.5, will the changes invalid aspects of the class? Steve

    Re: Logic Beginners Course
Hi Steve - No, the Logic basics covered in this course are the same in 10.5. Since it's an introductory course it doesn't get into details on the Instruments which have changed in 10.5 (EXS->Sampler, Drum Machine Designer), and naturally there's no mention of the new Live Loops or Sequencer features, but all the fundamental aspects of working in Logic -- which haven't changed -- are covered.
