Hello! and a question about audio editing
Hi everyone, After a few years away from music production, I'm going to give it another try and what better way to refresh my knowledge and learn new things than MPV? I just got a brand new Library Pass and I'm ready to start :) I already browsed the website for the courses I'm most interested in (mostly Logic Pro X, as that's the DAW I mainly use), but I do have a couple of things I would like to get on to right away. I'm currently starting a project that involves a lot of field recordings, large audio files that need to be imported into Logic, trimmed, named, organized, etc.. With that in mind, which course, or courses would you recommend I go to first? Thank you so much, Rui

Hi Rui - Welcome back! :-) For an up-to-date course that most directly addresses your work with audio, I'd suggest "LOGIC PRO X 102 Recording and Editing Audio", which I've linked to this thread. That course comprehensively covers audio file management, recording, and editing audio in the current version of Logic Pro X. If you're feeling more rusty about DAW work, you could also check out "LOGIC PRO X 101Essential Beginners Guide" first, just to get re-acquainted overall with the current version of Logic.. https://www.macprovideo.com/course/essential-beginners-guide?afid=E470KLQ7r9

Hi Joe, I'm really excited to come back :) Thank you so much for addressing my question so quickly. I took a look at the lesson titles in that course and it seems to be just what I need. I'll get on to it right away. I'll definitely need to do an overall review on Logic, so I'm going for 101 as well and then go from there. There's a lot to learn in MPV's Library these days. So good. All the best, Rui
