As of late, I can't seem to save or save as any project I've been working on in Logic Pro 9?? In other words once I'm done programming anything I've accomplished is gone and can't be saved & or retrieved?? I've tried to shorten the project name or reassign to a different folder but the same error message occurs every time. I even logged out of Logic Pro, re-opened a different project with the same error message again. So basically any projects I work on in Logic Pro 9 I cant save or save as. Any suggestions to hopefully rectify the issue & of course much appreciated!!

Are the options greyed out when you go to them in the File menu? or when you click on the option it doesn't save? Do you get any error message? If you use the key command (Cmd-S or Shift-Cmd-S) does it save the project? Have you made any changes to your setup? Such as updated any drivers, or added any new hardware or software?

Gary - Thanks for the fast response...The options are not greyed out & when I do click to save it doesn't but an error message states "The document....00.09.00.logic could not be saved." The key command Cmd - S doesnt save the project and has the same error message as well. I haven't made any changes to my set-up??

Can you try something else for me? Create a new user account on your Mac. Log into that account. Then launch Logic. From Logic open up one of your projects and see if you can save it then. This will determine if its a user account error or Logic error. Let me know what happens.

You should also try a Repair Permissions: [url]http://www.macprovideo.com/forum/general/general-general/13874[/url] btw, you didn't mention if you're using Logic 9.1.8 and whether it is running in 64-bit or 32-bit mode... also what version of Mac OS X are you using?

I apologize...I am using 9.1.8 Logic Pro in 32 Bit along with Mac OSX 10.8.4.

Okay, so its not a user error. Try repair your disk permissions like Rounik mentioned and see if that works.

I tried a disk repair permission still with the same results. Can't save or save as...

It could be a memory issue. Try [b]Option > Project Information...[/b] and then click on [b]Reorganize Memory.[/b] Then try to save your project. If it still doesn't work, go to [b]Logic Pro > Preferences > Audio > Devices > Core Audio[/b] and uncheck the [b]Enabled[/b] checkbox and check it back on again. Then press "Apply Changes" and try to save your project again. Let us know how it goes!
