New Course: Logic Pro: The Phat FX and Remix FX
Apr 12th, 2022, 03:45
Logic's Phat and Remix FX plug-ins are both multi-fx processors that offer a lot of potential -- Rishabh Rajan's new course 'Logic Pro: The Phat FX and Remix FX' takes a deep dive into the creative possibilities.
The course starts with the Phat FX plug-in, covering every control and showing what Phat can do. Phat is perfect for adding everything from adding subtle analog warmth to creating high gain distorted madness, and this is all demonstrated, along with the built-in Envelope Follower, LFOs, and X/Y pad, which can add interesting movement to productions.
The second part of the course digs into the Remix FX. This flexible multi-effect plug-in is targeted at DJs and electronic musicians who want to inject typical DJ style effects into their dance tracks, though of course it can be used in other genres as well. The course shows how to filter, gate, reverse, and scratch a full mix or individual tracks. It also explains how to use and configure the two X/Y Pads, how to combine effects, how to record parameter changes in the arrangement, and much more.
Any Logic users who haven't yet jumped into the Phat and Remix FX will definitely want to check out this course, and take their Logic Projects to the next creative level.
