    Undo/Redo in plugin window?
It doesn't seem that I am able to undo/redo an edit made in a plugin window. Is this really the case? For example, If I adjust the setting of a knob or slider to see how it sounds compared to where I had it, but decide I'd like to go right back to where I had it last... Is this really the case? I've been using logic pro 7 for about a year and figured I'd make do and figure it out sometime. Any help much appreciated. Thanks! -Morgan

omg... i have been meaning to ask this question forever! im so used to not being able to go back that it is just part of the logic routine.... my guess is that there would be way too many unnecessary history events... just think how many tweaks you give to a plugin... and the idea is that people who program synths know what they are doing... and so they should be able to retrace their steps.

The plugin window is a floating window (you can tell by the shorter, squared-of title bar) and like all floating windows in all software apps, it is not typically able to accept keyboard input unless "specifically" targeted. If you try undoing, you just undo the last action in the last floating window you used. Darn ... This also happens if you turn a normal window into a floating window, which you cna do by holding Option as you open a window. The only key commands I'm aware of for plugin windows is the Next Setting and Previous Setting key commands, which cycle through the plugin presets ... and BTW, these are extremely important to your workflow, so try experimenting with them!!
