Write to Apple and hope for the best. Fortunatly, it's pretty rare. I've only ever blown up 1 key, and I did that by literally blowing it up ... plugged the wrong power supply into my USB hub ... doh!!
yeah, it just makes me a little nervous... i just got the mac book pro (yes! arrives tomorrow)
and i will be plugging and unplugging the logic key like 3 times a day....
im thinking i might just use logic on my main computer at home and install ableton on my MBP and be happy with that.
Losing it is really the issue ... those keys tend to have feet, especially if you are in public situations like a school or something, where people know what that key represents.
As for them breaking, that's pretty rare. I've oonly actually heard of 1 instance, from somebody posting earlier in this forum!
And of course, my meltdown ... :)
I know one person who broke their when their MacBook feel off of their desk. The biggest problem is not being able to use Logic while waiting for a replacement.
