How to get rid of this kind of annoying noise?
Hi everybody, I'm trying to get rid of an annoying noise from all my music files transferred from LP to WAV. Can anyone teach me how to upload the sample file? Thanks in advance for your help. By the way I'm using iZotope RX 7.

Hi Sqwonk - If you mean upload the sample file to this forum, sorry, that's not possible. If you wanted people to be able to hear the noise in question you'd have to provide a link to YouTube or a similar site where they could play the audiofile. In RX7, there are many modules that can address unwanted sounds, but the appropriate one(s) to use would depend on the nature of the sound. Those modules include De-bleed, De-click, De-clip, De-crackle, De-hum, De-rustle, De-wind, De-noise, and Spectral Repair (among others). If the noise is typical LP record surface noise then De-click and De-crackle might be the ones to turn to first.. There's more information about all of RX7's audio repair modules in the course linked at the top of this thread.
