Can I use ALESIS MicLink - AudioLink Series XLR-to-USB Cable with Garage Band? Because I'm using a Deneon Tner Receuver amp for my out put. I have a 1/8 in stereo mini cable split to 2 RA jacks, going into the speaker input in the back of my Mac and the 2 RCA's going into my Denon receiver?

Hi Jim, I've just browsed the Alesis website and it sounds like the Miclink will work fine for connecting dynamic mics to your Mac. As long as the mic is recognized by Sound Preferences in OSX then Garageband should have no problem recognizing it. They also say that no additional drivers are required...
