New Course: More Advanced Ableton Live Hacks
Feb 4th, 2022, 06:16
Following up on his previous Ableton Live Hacks course, producer Olav Basoski has a new course "More Advanced Ableton Live Hacks", which offers up additional tips & tricks for Ableton users.
The course starts off with various compression and sidechaining techniques -- shaping the sidechain signal, ducking specific frequency ranges, using sidechain compression on the master, and combining these techniques. It then shows tricks to create vinyl stops and scratching effects using Live's built-in plugins. The following sections reveal secrets of creating multi-tap and pitched delay effects, and offer MIDI editing and performance tips. The course also demonstrates additional tricks, like how to make sub bass translate on small speakers, and a Haas effect widening technique, and provides even more creative tips.
Live users ready for more helpful hacks to enhance their creativity will want to check out this course [and the original Live Hacks course if they haven't seen it already], and get ready to take their productions to the next level.
