Echo... Do I need to repeat myself? Watch G.W. Childs as he manipulates this "echological" new plugin to create all kinds of "out there" audio effects...
G.W. Childs is an audio & video production powerhouse whose credits span the gamut from work with the US Department of Defense to soundtracks with LucasArts and remixes for James Brown & Ray Charles.

The Echo, combines modern delay algorithms with the classic sound of analog tape. In this tutorial, our favorite Reason Raconteur, G.W. Childs tells the story of The Echo and its historical origins. Then, you see how it works and how you can control it to add some very cutting edge audio effects to electrify your productions.
G.W. always has an original take on all things audio! This tutorial is no exception. Watch how he takes The Echo and transforms it into a keyboard controllable "Stutter Edit" device. It's like G.W. meets BT! (I'd like to see that smack down!)
So join one of MPV's most entertaining tutorialists as he teaches you the essence of "echology" in this exposé on Reason's, The Echo!

Very complete tutorial. You don't just learn all the functions, but you will also learn how to use it creatively, in example, like a stuttering effect. Thanks for the good work!!

I thought I knew everything about the The Echo and how to use it—I was wrong. This excellent video does a great job of explaining all the features of The Echo with extremely helpful and practical examples of how to use it. I now understand the difference between the Triggered and Roll modes of operation. You should watch this video—you will not be disappointed.
