Well designed PowerPoint presentations inform and inspire. Boring ones put everyone to sleep. In this introductory course, Microsoft evangelist Gary Grudzinskas reveals the secrets of building strong, purposeful and entertaining PowerPoint presentations that'll keep your audience informed, entertained and focussed on your content!
Gary starts at the very beginning where you learn the basics of PowerPoint's new interface and Ribbon. Once you know your way around, you quickly progress to building a presentation with all of the media types and options that PowerPoint has to offer. Here you work with powerful text options and integrate SmartArt, Word Art, Charts, Tables and, yes... even Video! Next, you get to the juicy stuff where you can spice up your presentation design using colorful and attractive themes as well as eye-catching transitions and animations.
Now that your presentation is ready, Gary shows you the different views you can use to practice and rehearse your presentation to ensure that the final slideshow goes off without a hitch on the day of the grand performance! By following Gary's advice, your audiences will be engaged, inspired and most of all, awake, as you impress them with your mastery of PowerPoint!

A great course, but many of the videos go black while he is explaining a crucial topic. The boxes and shapes he uses to highlight areas of the ribbon still appear, but the rest of the image is black. Very disappointing.
