Overview
Status: Available | Released: Sep 28th, 2008
People have a lot of misunderstandings about Native Instruments' KORE. Is it a synthesizer? A sample library? A controller? A patch librarian? Is it for composing? Sound design? Performance? Well, the answer to all these questions is YES!

KORE is such a powerful instrument that we've given you nearly six hours of video covering every aspect of KORE. Going far beyond the manual, you'll dive deep into KORE's sound matrix and create complex sounds that you can control in real-time for composing, sound design, or performance. You'll learn how to use KORE as a plug-in for your favorite sequencer, and also how to integrate KORE with other plug-ins, including KOMPLETE. Along the way, we'll show many examples of complex instruments you can build with KORE to give you ideas on constructing your own sounds.

This tutorial-video is divided into three main chapters. In the first chapter, all the basic features of the software are covered – from using KORE's flexibile sound browser to creating your first sounds. In the next chapter, "Diving In Deeper," you'll see how to create complex, nested and layered sounds with KORE and review all of KORE's built-in audio and MIDI effects in detail. The course winds up with a chapter on using KORE in performance and as a plug-in to your sequencing software.

This training program is a perfect companion course to Native Instruments 102: Complete NI KOMPLETE, which provides a comprehensive look at the eleven instruments that make up Native Instruments' KOMPLETE suite.
