I have been always a fan of checking those old tutorials, there's just so much information that isn't passed in the future tutorials. I recommend to go back in time to understand how and why the features changed as techniques are replaced but there's always a revival.

The Logic 7 tutorials are easily as good in Logic 8.
Making a Proxy Movie is a very useful skill. I could make a small movie of my hands playing a difficult Guitar solo and one of my students could play it back on any Mac or PC. that has the FREE Quick-Time Player.
Some people have a close friend who has a degree and they don't mind talking shop on their day off. The rest of us have macProVideo.

Martin, I am new to video editing and was hopping for something a litle more stepwise and simpler. Having downloadable examples would be useful. Chunk size of each lesson is short.

I was really hoping that you would show a actual project being put together. I guess i was hoping to learn more about hit points. how to time your music to an already edited video. it was very gerneral and vague on how to put music to video. I did learn some new tricks with logic but i was looking for alittle more.

Hey guys-
I'm a long time logic user. Most of my gigs are composing-arrangig-producing-playig. I just got my first gig scoring a documentary. Hence my purchase....the turorial had me up and running and you predicted many of the questions I had and addressed them in a "to the point" manner.
Hats off for another great video!!
