Dive into Logic's realtime MIDI FX with Booker Edwards and quickly learn what these powerful FX can really do. Then, download the bonus Logic project and try them out for yourself!
Booker produces and writes under the name Triple B. He creates music for television, film and records and specializes in hip hop, R&B and the Akai MPC.
This course, originally made for a previous version of Logic, is forward compatible with the latest version.
When Logic Pro X introduced the realtime MIDI FX, everyone naturally gravitated to the Arpeggiator and we were the first training company to dedicate a whole course to that awesome and powerful device. However, there are a bunch of other MIDI FX available in the channel strip that will add a ton of creativity and control to your productions and that's what this course lasers in on! Then, be sure to watch the 4 bonus tutorials at the end of the course and download the Logic Pro resource file to see some of the coolest MIDI magic that the MIDI FX can do!
Learn about the:
-Chord Trigger
-Modifier
-Modulator
-Note Repeater
-Randomizer
-Scripter
-Transposer
-Velocity Processor
-Arpeggiator (there's a whole, separate course on this one already in the library!)
So join Logic Pro Certified trainer Booker Edwards in this course as he completely demystifies, explains and unleashes all the MIDI goodness that these built-in Logic Pro MIDI plugins can conjure up!

Excellent and efficient overview. The last four videos in particular really help to see how these individual plugins can be used together to create powerful effects

I have a new favorite Tech Guru. Not only does his teaching style speak to me. The videos are immaculately produced as well. I love the way he says Lemth instead of length. Adds a human touch. (similar to proper quantization. BOOM!)

This is a great course. All the plug-ins dealt with are very well explained. Booker's use of visuals - showing us what he's doing with the MIDI keyboard, or showing the signal chain on the channel strip - is really helpful. It would have been nice to see a few more examples of presets in action from the Scripter plug-in, but this is a minor thing. Thanks very much for an entertaining and informative course.
