The iPad is a creative tool, personal assistant, productivity booster, and entertainment hub all rolled into one ultra-cool device. Learn all the iPad's key features (and some hidden secrets) in this fun and friendly For Dummies video training course led by Apple expert and software entrepreneur, Scott Freiman.
Scott Freiman is a renaissance man ... both an award winning musician and entrepreneur, Scott has a long history of composing and producing great music.
Expert trainer, Scott Freiman, starts right from the beginning walking you through everything you'll find when you open the box. Scott then takes you on a tour of the iPad's physical layout explaining how the buttons, switches, and connectors work. From there you'll learn how to master the iPad's revolutionary multitouch interface through a series of custom on-screen animations. Scott also demonstrates the essential touch gestures, the pop-up "soft" keyboard, and how to use both to their maximum potential.
This course continues with a series of tutorials that show you how to set up your iCloud, 4G, and wireless accounts before moving on to configuring and using all of your iPad's built-in apps, including Safari, Notes, Mail, Reminders, Calendar, Maps, and more. All along the way, Scott reveals the iPad's best – and some not-so-obvious – features, tips, and tricks that will ensure you enjoy your iPad experience to the fullest.
In each lesson, you'll find clear expert video instruction, useful tips and reminders, and tools for taking notes, keeping track of your favorite lessons, and monitoring your progress along the way.
So sit back, relax, and learn all there is to know about your incredible iPad!

I gave 4 stars as this course needs a refresh with latest IOS. However, most of the stuff is relevant and will definitively help a new user.

This is a great intro course for anyone who is new to iPad or wants to learn more about how everything works. I'm a tech-guy/developer, and I still found a few tips I didn't know.
